Ethvex October Update: Auto Slowmode, Smarter AutoMod and a Much Bigger Free Plan
Auto Slowmode, multi action AutoMod steps, a new stats command, emoji and sticker logs, and a much bigger free plan with all log categories, Role All and Voice Roles.
Ethvex is still in open beta, and we keep looking for ways to make it better for every server. This update brings smarter AutoMod, a brand new module, and the biggest free plan Ethvex has ever had.
A much bigger free plan #
We want Ethvex to be genuinely useful without paying, so we opened up a lot more:

New: AutoMod multi action steps #
Each AutoMod punishment step can now do several things at once. One step can delete the message, warn the user and time them out together, so your ladder can be as gentle or as strict as you like:
- Step 1: Delete + Warn
- Step 2: Delete + Timeout 10 minutes
- Step 3: Delete + Timeout 1 hour
- Step 4: Delete + Kick
Steps are now managed in a clean three level panel: the module, its list of steps, and the actions inside each step. Learn more in the AutoMod docs.
New: Auto Slowmode #
A brand new AutoMod module. When a channel suddenly gets a burst of messages, like a raid or a hype moment, Ethvex switches slowmode on for that channel. Once chat has been calm for a while, it switches slowmode off again by itself. Nobody gets punished, and the channel stays readable.
New: /stats #
Run /stats to see how many servers Ethvex is in, how long it has been online and how fast it is responding.
New: emoji and sticker logs #
Server logs now record custom emojis and stickers being added, removed or changed, so you always know who changed what.
Improvements #
- Cleaner moderation DMs. Ban, kick, timeout and warning DMs have a new design, and members now also get a DM when a ban or timeout is lifted.
- Readable audit log reasons. AutoMod reasons in your audit log are now plain text instead of emoji code.
- Better Steal. Steal now finds emojis inside embeds and container messages too.
- Fixed badges in
/userinfo, plus lots more fixes across the board.

Are all Ethvex log categories free now?
Yes. Moderation, member, message, server and voice logs, 59 events in total, are free on every server.
What is Auto Slowmode?
An AutoMod module that turns on slowmode in a channel during a sudden burst of messages and turns it off again once chat calms down.
Is Role All free?
Yes, for servers with 1,000 members or less. Larger servers can use it with Ethvex Pro.
