channel | Channel | Optional | The channel to change. Leave empty to use the channel you are in. |
reason | Text | Optional | Why you are doing this. Shows in the audit log and in the member's DM. Up to 512 characters. |

Good to know #
- The prefix version accepts durations like
30s,5mor1h. The slash version takes seconds. - The longest slowmode Discord allows is 6 hours.
- Works in text and announcement channels. Members with Manage Messages or Manage Channels are not affected.
